Anyone catch Wall Street Week? They had fund raising going on our PBS channels, so it wasn't on during or around the normal time slot. Just wondering what was said.

I have been reading what seems to be the start of some very bullish views for techs today. Hard Disk Sales are expected to boom as well as chip sales, that sort of the thing... the kind that will make techs soar again. I just hope it keeps building into a nice buying frenzy by January so we can all walk around with big smiles during the New Year<g>.

Don - thanks again for the stats. The year end Worth magazine issue entitled "Investing Outlook 1998" mentions FSI International as a stock to watch in the coming year. Martin Whitman of the Third Avenue Fund states that FSII " is a cash-rich semiconductor-equipment supplier and seems likely to participate fully in the long- term growth for semiconductors. We have no question that the five- to ten-year outlook for semiconductors is brillant, though there will be considerable cyclical swings. Earnings have slumped recenly, but FSI sells at only 13 times its prior record earnings, which it produced in 1996, and at less than a 60 percent premium over a conservatively stated book value. This meets our definition of cheap."

Best - Joe
