Why do you care about WalMart employees? Are you mad they actually have a job while you live of the government?

>> Walmart's Cheap Labor Is Costing It a Fortune

How stupid.

Assuming 1,000,000 Walmart employees making $9.00/hour that's close to $20 Billion/year in wages; if they gave them all a 20% raise that would amount to, obviously, some $4 Billion/year.

Walmart, being one of the best managed companies in the country, would gladly pay that $4 Billion/year if it would result in $4B/year in savings. But $100M in fines and/or penalties clearly wouldn't be enough to do it.

A local water company I've worked with charged Walmart $20K for paying a bill late. After the CEO of the water company called and complained directly to the CEO of Walmart, he received a check for $20K by Fedex the next day. Cost of doing business. Shit happens. I'm sure no one was fired over it, and they sure as hell wouldn't give anyone a raise because of it.

Do you think giving dumbassed school administrators a raise would have prevented this?
