Full dissemination never happens, but does not SEC require management to disseminate this type of info, I belive that if any information comes to management attention that will cause investors to alter a decision must be disclosed. I am not a lawyer, so can only go on what I remember hearing. Would also be interested in knowing at what ownership point does a company have to disclose intention, if Lucent were to make a bid would have to be close to point at which they will have to disclose to SEC, is this 10%.
