This was recently published on one of Spain's largest circulation newspapers: iqs.edu It's an interview with Peter Dunn, one of the guys involved in the discovery of Viagra. From Wikipedia: The British press portrayed Peter Dunn and Albert Wood as the inventors of the drug, a claim that Pfizer disputes.[50] Their names are on the manufacturing patent application, but the original patent on the synthesis of the drug was filed by Nicholas Terrett and Peter Ellis. Now, the first 3 questions by the journalist all revolve around "female viagra" : Will we ever get a female viagra? I tried to find something in the 90s. And? nothing worked, there's nothing working so far(!). Why? I dont know what to answer, women are more complicated at all levels (lol)... Now..now...now...I wouldnt expect this pal ( being described on the piece as currently working for an undisclosed big pharma name) to just pump a competitor's candidate, either that or he is just clueless on Femprox... which just would go to show how obscure APRI is yet. Since he is currently doing some work for a Chemical Institute in my hometown Barcelona and doing public presentations from time to me (he just did one in May before the interview), I will try to track him down and discuss Femprox with him and report back to this board.Should make for an interesting conversation... On the other side of the equation, just think of the journalist and what sort of headline he was trying to get first thing....what sort of public attraction could a succesfull Femprox bring to APRI? Just thought I would share this as food for thought with you guys....
