So you offer wonderful entertainment (that is, Schadenfreude for you), regardless of the missing sarc marks.

My question for you as a guy in the oil and gas business is, why do the E&P companies even order and pay for the reports from the independent reserve engineers such as Neverland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. (misspellng intended) and their ilk? I can certainly understand how the opined values could suffer by 20%, 30% or 40% when a company enters bankruptcy. But I don't get the delta from $6 billion down to $700 million.

Does NS&A never have to explain? I'm wondering who is their E&O carrier.

silk - u should realize that the fact that no one willing to pay 750millions to bid does NOT mean the assets worth less than that.

Who is the director that buy in back shortly before the filing again?? I bet he thought the company worth much more than 750millios.
