Our local TA man has been amazingly accurate. Take any thousand investors - regardless if they use FA, TA, darts, or anything else - and you'll naturally have a few with good track records. Even a pool of coin-flippers would yield the same. TA has its place in describing short-term psychology, but it is vastly trumped by earnings, as the reason you own an equity is for the return. Ask yourself: Even with the most bullish possible technical indicators (whatever you consider that to be), would a company with falling profits and prospects still climb in value?
