Tim: Don't beat yourself up too much. We've all shot ourselves in the foot at one time or another. I just heard a story about a hometown high school wrestling team who lived in fear of a Russian wrestler on a rival team famous for a brutal "pretzel hold" that would tangle up and instantly disable anybody. At one match, however, a wrestler on the hometown team was able to get out of the pretzel hold and win the match. When the sports reporter asked the coach how the boy managed to get out of the hold, he replied that the frustrated boy leaned over and "bit his testacles." Surprised, the reporter said, "You mean he bit the Russian's testacles?" No, the coach said, "He bit his own."

For the near future, ASCEND will range between 25...30 until the next earnings announcement. As a long term investment, ASCEND might end up merging with some other co. (i.e. LUCENT ...), so I would not plan on investing in it for more than 12/18 months out, if that long. I do hope the market will prove me wrong, I have too much vested interest on the long side.
