now what would YOU know about this topic ?!!?
Different denominations, especially Protestant versus Catholic, have different traditions/methods from each other.
Protestants (like me) for the most part, do not believe in memorizing specific prayers, but rather pray from the heart what they feel at any moment.
From Jesus' mouth: Matthew 6:7
7 “And when you pray, don’t be like the people who don’t know God. They say the same things again and again. They think that if they say it enough, their god will hear them."
So, we understand the model of prayer that Jesus then follows with ("the Lord's Prayer") and have studied it from that aspect . . .
BUT, we do not have to memorize it and use it over and over again because that is not its intent.
So . . you have the wrong idea of Christianity if you think that we have to memorize that "prayer" as a sign of our "Christianity" . . just the opposite in fact.
Just educating you as a result of your further attacks.
