I really don't blame Romney for losing the election.

It isn't a case where "the better man won."

It is a case where the lesser of two men was able to get away with doing and saying just about anything because the news media were complicit. Romney was just about the ideal candidate from the point of view of his skills, honesty, integrity, etc. But the media wouldn't hear of it. Obama, however, WAS able to capitalize in getting the most uniformed, ignorant voters out to vote in his favor -- partially due to his skin color, and partially due to his superior IT infrastructure.

But mostly, because the news media refused to do its job, just as it did in 2008.

I suspect history will remember it as one of the greatest missed opportunities our country ever endured. If not, it ought to.
