Give me Java or give me death! This tactic of MSFT's trying to shove stuff down the user's throats is pretty sickening. I really think it is backfiring bigtime, and eventually, we'll see that they didn't have the teeth to make it stick. I think it is an "odd confluence of events", that Microsoft is employing such tactics after Bill Gates himself raised hell with other vendors (in his book, "The Road Ahead") for employing different, but conceptually similar tactics. What is the difference between IBM's attempt to shove MicroChannel down everyone's throats and MSFT's attemp to shove IE down our throats? Sounds a little hypocritical to me....
