Messiahs drop dead too. In the case of Ike, he needed to be sent down weeks ago. Captain Kirk is back. The revolving door of ineptitude continues. Mr.K, Rick Ankiel was dropped for the same reason the Astros cut him.

Next weekend 3 day vacation to Myrtle Beach. Now that's some beach that even you would be impressed by.

Well, the Mets finally sent down Ike, Mike Baxter and Robert Carson to the minors. Who did they bring up? Josh Edgin, who had a 6.75 era in AA and AAA. Colin Cowgill who was batting 268 at AAA and nice Jewish boy, Josh Satin, who was batting in the low 300s at AAA. Cowgill and Edgin were already sent down earlier in the season for inept performances, What makes this time different? The fact is the Mets already have a AAA team so bringing up more AAA players will not improve anything.

Met strength in minors is all pitching. Wheeler, Montero, Synegaard (starters) and a good lefty reliever in AA.

This team, as I predicted preseason, is headed toward 100 losses.
