I think ARP is at a good price. I have sold some puts at $22.50. ARP will be used by ATLS to fund ATLS distributions by more acquisitions via dilution at ARP. Notice ATLS funded it gas purchase with short term loan and not shares.
ATLS will try to keep it's share count stable so an investor in ARP will at some point be at a disadvantage to a holder in ATLS.
This is not to say that ARP is not a buy.
I think it is a good buy for the income and potential upside through drilling, partnership sales and legacy assets that might be more valuable in the future.
ARP has done a great job with the growth.
Stock will be difficult to purchase at this price next year IMO.
