Irene, I know you are a believer in T/A, but I believe you're wasting your time fooling with that as a buy/sell indicator for a variety of reasons which I won't get into here. I'm in CLE because it is a growth company with excellent fundamentals, and because I identified it as a growth company the only reason for me to buy shares in it is as part of a buy and hold strategy. And the only reason for getting out is the deterioration of its underlying fundamentals.

Having said all of that I see the fundamentals as having improved significantly. Much of the merchandise carried by CLE comes from Asia, and since the cost of Asian merchandise is dropping due to weak local currencies we can expect CLE's costs to drop substantially. Secondly, the recent jobs data indicated that unemployment rates hit new lows, so this means an increase in discretionary spending, and while teenage girls don't consider the sparklies at Claire's "discretionary" (I know this from my daughter), I think the result will be a stronger than expected next few quarters.

Regards,

Paul
