Al-len--A regretably serious post. I do not critize or flame individuals in SI except here on the Flame thread. My posts here are attempts at humor and the success of that is to be measured in the readers. I would prefer others follow the same vein. I have seen posts here that were utterly superb and tremendously funny. They were a joy to read. I can find bitter vicious flames thoughout SI threads and I prefer not to see them or to join in. That said I don't care to take to task people who post here for other reasons. Again the success of their posts are going to be measured in the readers. If someone has another reason to post here other than humor that is on them. I think however you should understand the thread evolved into a very humor oriented thread and to many people when it fails to achieve that it no longer seems worth reading to them. My feeling is that should the humor disappear from the Flame thread so will all the readers and in all the posters. I will continue to post here but strickly as I always have for fun. If I ever posted anything I felt truely offended someone I would apologize immeadiately. If the thread ever became simply a true Flame thread with mean spirited posts and crudity posted here because SI tolerates it here I would quit. I like the idea as you seem to of anything goes. But I am here to use that freedom to have fun. Druss
