What's the point of protesting? Americans decided long ago they prefer security to their privacy. That was determined under Bush.
The liberals and the media had an absolute cow when Bush was doing it, despite polls showing a slim majority supporting it. Of course, I don't remember the media ever publishing the results of said polls.

Now that Obama has expanded what Bush did, the Washington Post deemed it necessary to publish the result of the latest poll in support of the practice.

What do I think? I think whoever comes up with technological solutions to guard privacy will end up a very rich person. Until then, we'll all have to "deal with it," as Scott McNealy put it. (You can Google that phrase and his name, if you are able to, LOL ...)
