CA:Why hasn’t the left tried to exploit the Santa Monica shootings?
.......................................................................................
americaswatchtower.com ^ | 9 June, 2013 | NA

We see it time and time again: Every time some madman opens fire on innocent people the Democrats almost immediately use the tragedy to push for gun control laws and the all too willing media quickly jump on board to begin pushing the government’s propaganda. Where most of us see tragedy the left sees opportunity.

We saw it with the Virginia Tech shooting, and we saw it when Gabby Giffords was shot, and we saw it when a madman opened fire in a Colorado movie theater. Most recently we saw it in the Newtown school shooting so I fully expected we would once again see it when a man opened fire in Santa Monica the other day and killed five people.

In fact I thought they would go even further than that because I expected to hear the left blame the Republicans and the conservatives in the Congress for the shooting because they failed to pass gun control legislation in the wake of the Newtown shooting, but to this point–with the exception of Henry Waxman–we haven’t heard a word about it and I found that to be quite curious indeed. It isn’t like the left to let a good crisis go to waste, so why are they not speaking out and trying to exploit this shooting?

It turns out the shooter’s name was John Zawahri, he is of Middle Eastern descent (reportedly Lebanese) and his next of kin all happen to be out of the country at this time. That is all we know about Zawahri at this point, we do not know if he was a Muslim and we do not know the motive although it is being reported it was possibly over the divorce of his parents.

Could it really be so simple? Is the mere fact that this man may have been a Muslim enough to silence the left and the media and stop them from once again exploiting a shooting for political purposes? Could it be true that the left isn’t interested in exploiting this story because of the slight possibility that this shooting could be tied to the religion of peace they are afraid if they do so they would unwittingly shine a light on a problem they refuse to believe still exists? After all, this is the regime that classified the Fort Hood shooting as workplace violence in order to hide from the truth.

The Cozy Relationship of Google's Eric Schmidt & Obama
......................................................................
politicalforum.com

With the latest revelation that the NSA is also using the PRISM secret data-collecting program on Google and Facebook, it has brought to light even more questions about how this could be used by an administration willing to use it for political reasons. We already know that the IRS has misused their power for political reasons....so are we to believe that our information collected from Google and Facebook could not possibly be misused for political purposes---for purposes of obtaining an advantage in winning an election??

Making this even more suspicious is the very close relationship that Obama and Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt of Google have. Schmidt is one of Obama's largest donors. Schmidt worked on Obama's campaign. And Obama's campaign team are now working for Google. Schmidt would have access to Americans regarding where they live, what their politics are, and all kinds of things. Have you ever noticed how if you do a search on Google for Thermodor appliances, for example, that suddenly all these ads will pop up over the right column of each page....regarding appliances? That's because they already datamine our behavior.

We also know that Obama had a tremendous campaign operation regarding getting out the vote and obtaining donations.....using Facebook and Iphones. In fact, in 2011 his campaign received even more donations via Facebook adn IPhones from young people than before.

I, for one, am extremely uncomfortable with this cozy relationship:

"This week, Bloomberg reported that Obama’s data mining team, used to such great effect during his 2012 re-election for president, has been hired nearly wholesale to go work for Google.

This may not come as such a great surprise, however, as Google’s Executive Chairman, Eric Schmidt, helped organize and run Obama’s re-election e-team.

Schmidt “helped recruit talent, choose technology, and coach the campaign manager, Jim Messina, on the finer points of leading a large organization,” Bloomberg reports.

"Does the government have 'direct access' to your data and information on Facebook and Google, or not?

"Internet companies have long been monitoring the data that covers a person's entire life: e-mail, financial information, health-related searches, family members, and location information. It represents a level of surveillance that was never possible before."

Slides and leaked information provided to The Washington Post reveal that the government has tapped directly into it.

“Google is collecting all that stuff for themselves. Facebook is collecting all that stuff for themselves," Gary McGraw, CTO of software security firm Cigital Inc., told FoxNews.com. "Yahoo is doing the same thing. The question is, how much of it is the government getting?”

AND what are the legalities of a huge corporate donor actually working for a campaign? And helping to hire computer experts and personnel for the campaign....and then hiring all of them afterwards for his own company? I really think this should be examined.

"I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration." Hillary Clinton

Obama's Ambassador to Belgium Accused of Soliciting Sex with Minors

June 11, 2013
Ambassador Who Ran off to Have Sex With Minor Children ID'd as Major Obama Bundler & Political Appointee;
Hillary's Lawyer Cheryl Mills Once Again Stepped In to "Fix" Matters —Ace Another coverup with Hillary, Patrick Kennedy, and Cheryl Mills conspiring at the center.

This is worse than Watergate.

The New York Post will take all the scoops the media deliberately gives up.

A State Department whistleblower has accused high-ranking staff of a massive coverup — including keeping a lid on findings that members of then-Secretary Hillary Clinton’s security detail and the Belgian ambassador solicited prostitutes.

A chief investigator for the agency’s inspector general wrote a memo outlining eight cases that were derailed by senior officials,
including one instance of interference by Clinton’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills.

...

A DS agent was called off a case against US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman over claims that he solicited prostitutes, including minors.

At Hot Air (first link, at the top), Ed Morrissey says that Gutman raised over a half million for Obama's campaign and also cut checks for his inaugural ball.

I guess that kind of money buys a certain amount of latitude vis à vis Sex With Underage Children. At least on Team Obama.

There are two ways an Administration can avoid the taint of scandal.

One, actually avoid scandals or, where misbehavior is detected, confront it openly and vigorously and thereby correct it.

Two, just cover the scandals up and count on an supplicative press to assist in the cover up.

The Ambassador and the underage hooker? (Howard Gutman, Obama donor, ambassador to Belgium...)
...................................................................................................

June 11, 2013 The Ambassador and the underage hooker? Ed Lasky

A couple of years ago, Howard Gutman, America's Ambassador to Belgium, ignited a storm of criticism when he blamed Israel for generating anti-Semitism.

There were calls that he be removed from his post, though partisan groups such as the National Jewish Democratic Council stayed mute. But President Obama kept him in the office -- perhaps as a reward for Gutman's success in being a fundraiser and donor to Obama (recall, Obama has defined politics as punish your enemies and rewarding your friends).

So what has Gutman been up to since then?

Apparently, by allowing him to stay in the prestigious post, Obama has unleashed the inner Gutman, a man who allegedly has proceeded to solicit prostitutes, including underage minors.

And this has all been hushed up by the powers-that-be in DC.

S.A. Miller and George Earle at the New York Post report:

A State Department whistleblower has accused high-ranking staff of a massive coverup - including keeping a lid on findings that members of then-Secretary Hillary Clinton's security detail and the Belgian ambassador solicited prostitutes.

A chief investigator for the agency's inspector general wrote a memo outlining eight cases that were derailed by senior officials, including one instance of interference by Clinton's chief of staff, Cheryl Mills.

Any mention of the cases was removed from an IG report about problems within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), which provides protection and investigates crimes involving any State Department workers overseas.

"It's a coverup," declared Cary Schulman, a lawyer representing the whistleblower, former State Department IG senior investigator Aurelia Fedenisn."The whole agency is impaired.

"Undue influence . . . is coming from political appointees. It's coming from above the criminal- investigation unit," added Schulman, whose client provided the document with the revelations.

Some of the revelations were first reported by CBS News.

Among the bombshell findings:

* A DS agent was called off a case against US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman over claims that he solicited prostitutes, including minors.

"The agent began his investigation and had determined that the ambassador routinely ditched his protective security detail in order to solicit sexual favors from both prostitutes

He should be removed from his position and the investigation should not be deep-sixed as has been done to date.

But he won't be; Obama can admit no errors, no matter how much damage ensues because of his poor choices.
