Located in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth No. 357, the DVD Video Group/Premiere booth will serve as a central source of the most up-to-date information about the groundbreaking DVD Video products, provide hands-on demonstrations and illustrate the abundance of blockbuster movies from major studios available on DVD Video.
A calendar of DVD Video demonstrations and special events taking place at CES also will be available.
Attendees can learn more about the DVD Video Group's 32 members, which include the home video divisions of major motion picture studios and music labels, consumer electronics manufacturers and companies involved in the authoring, replication, compression and packaging of DVD Video products.
"We're delighted to be working with Premiere, which always has its finger on the pulse of the entertainment industry," said Emiel N. Petrone, chairman of the DVD Video Group and executive vice president of Philips Electronics.

Premiere magazine also will be co-hosting a cocktail reception with the DVD Video Group on Jan. 9, from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. The event will provide opportunities for the media to meet leading entertainment industry executives.

Premiere provides the most complete coverage of the filmmaking process, offering in-depth interviews with major filmmakers and detailed reports from the sets of both independent films and studio blockbusters.
Regular monthly departments and annual Technology in Hollywood special sections also cover the latest advances in home entertainment.
