A few more tidbits from the company -

They are currently building 30 Gateways a week. The FNET POPs are slipping into next year, as many of these are going out for trial.

The Globalcom trial ends in a few days. Helen says there has been favorable feedback so far, and she thinks this is the only one Globalcom is testing.

The first batch of trials ends 15 DEC, the second 15 JAN. Some of these are competitive trials against other Gateways.

I looked up the company website, and Frank's message was back to the July 15 message (yes, I hit reload). ????

Also, good post Judith. Trying out a whole host of ideas - and backing away from most - seems to be Frank's style. I have been a little leery of it as well - but if the Tempest trials result in orders it machts nichts.

I think we need to give Frank and Co. alot of credit for continually seeking and exploring avenues for growth in the communications technology sector. When we find something that is profitable we concentrate on that area and continue to develop. When we find something that is not profitable we cut our losses and move our concentration to other areas. Thats what separates the good companies from the bad. With the daily changes in the technology sector I for one am very excited to be a part of a company that is willing to be a part of future technology development and have the sense to know when to stay in an area and when to get out. Knowing that we are not afraid of becoming involved with new and upcomming technology makes me very comfortable in holding Ftel stock.

Go gettem Frank!!!
