To add to the comments: QuarkXpress (proper spelling) pretty much owns the market for graphic designers, at least in NYC, where I am. This is not going to change, since they just (finally) came out with their version 4.0, which is supposs to be very impressive (I haven't seen it yet). Of course, most designers use Adobe Photoshop for photo manipulation, and, I think, the majority use Adobe Illustrator as a draw program, though there are devotees of Macromedia Freehand around.
