The big houses were all saying gold 2000 and that's why those people bought the top, sad indeed. Now everyone is saying gold 1000. I don't think it gets there, but who knows. Presently, EVERYONE is saying S&P onward and upward. I think the future bagholders are being led to slaughter. The Dow is due for a water torture bear market like in '73-74 and like gold has just had. The Dow could go up a lot more, but long term I still don't think it will keep pace with the price of dog food that retirees will be eating. It hasn't for the last 13 years since the economy has been juiced by debt manipulation, while real growth is slowing. We paid a lot for this economic recovery that is just about to happen, that has to happen. I think we paid too much.
