Talk of the town...
Out-of-towner Bob Chancellor was in Austin recenly visiting relatives and he thought he'd take the opportunity to check out the Dell outlet store for a certain model he'd been unable to find."They said they were sold out,but then I saw three boxes with the name "Micheal Dell" on them", Chancellor said. When he inquired about those computers, chancellor was told that they had already been sold and the buyer was Micheal Dell himself. "I couldnt believe that Micheal Dell actually pays for things at his own store," Chancellor said, adding that that the cashier told him that Dell buys computers for presents. She said that last year Dell came in and bought four computers and the cashier was new and didnt reconize him, so he didnt even get his Dell discout.{ Since Dell is a publicly-traded company, the boss cant just give himself computers.} While it's nobel that the Dellionare doesn't pull a star trip and a pc is one heckuva present, dont youthink that receiving a Dell computer from Micheal Dell is like opening a gift from Rooster andrews and finding a Longhorn sweatshirt inside?....

From the Austin Statesman ...
This should help the next earnings<gg>
