Y2K AWARENESS: Many 'non'-Y2K stock appear in fulltext search on SI

Often I do a Fulltext search on the word 'Y2K' on SI.

NEVER before did I see so many different 'none'-Y2K (stock) threads appear as today!

So discussion about Y2K impact on 'none' Y2K stocks is starting (a discussion could be helt on what exactly 'none' means; but the idea is clear, I hope ;-))

Any thoughts?

- PSFT
- APM
- GOLD PRICE MONITOR
- NOVELL
- ORACLE
- IOM
- IFMX
- Roger's shot picks (almost always turns up in a fulltext search ;-))
- BAY Ntwks

So: awareness is increasing on SI!

B.t.w, on the SIM site I saw site access statistics. Clearly for several months now, there is exponential growths in number of accesses on this Y2K site; the time for doubling about 5-6 weeks.

'Year 2000 Bug Shouldn't Be Too Annoying'

This is an interview with one of those millions who only read PC magazines, and therefore think the world is run by Windows PC's
(and therefore Y3K is no big deal).
