Alys, By "inertia of enthusiasm" I meant that my initial interest/enthusiasm for a particular company (now pretty much D*E*A*D)was cautionary, yet quite exciting: (ie mass encouters friction thus reducing speed)= diminishment of interest by lack of control; but artifically sustained and consequently kept in motion by the illusion (wishing to believe) that time, distance and a down hill slope would provide sufficient momentum, allowing me to fool myself into overlooking the obvious flaws (M-A-N-A-G-E-M-E-N-T + B of D) that this company had regarding its ability to make it. I even went out to visit it for three days. While the "sizzle" was everywhere, the steak could not be found. I came home with some real skepticism, citing as my concerns what eventually led to its demise. While others focused on the charts, potential, and soon to be announced technological "breakthroughs", deep pockets and around the corner contracts,...I could'nt help but see that management was hollow and totally bullshit. But boy, could they sell the snake oil! Old adage..."First time, shame on you; next time shame on me." = "inertia of (not for) enthusiasm"! What makes me nervous is when my skepticism or caveats regarding a company provoke hostile responses...that's a benchmark well worth noting. These chat sites are loaded with hidden agendas. Guess we all need to lighten up. Lisa(my wife) and I are going out for lunch. There's a place near by that serves the best clam chowda (New England style) and outstanding fried errsters. So, enjoy the rest of the day. If I have time, I'll check in before heading back to the great unoccupied territory of North Western Maine. One final note: I am not a technician. A company is only as good as the people working for it. Regarding the charts of the company I was referring to...god, they looked super. Surprise!! Never the less, I hope your interpretations are correct. We will all profit in some manner.
