I think the key is also AT WHAT PRICE will the Central Banks sell...sure Argentina sold gold six months ago - how is that relevant with gold 50 dollars per ounce lower?...They are not going to give the gold away all the way down....I think this central bank selling is now "stale" news...Personally, I'm loading up on depressed stocks like ABX Leaps (Jan 25 for 2000), TVX (Covered option write at 3.65 Cdn, short Jan. 4 calls), and long Farallon (T.Fan) - luckily I anticipated this decline in Aug. 96 and have been bearish since. I'm bullish now for a bear market rally - short and sweet of 25-30% over the next couple of months. Cheers.
