hoping to be surprised is the very nature of the big kahuna trade. like putting out cookies for black swans and santa klaus. or the surprise of joy, when it comes to you out of the blue. the first touch of your child, within minutes, after it was born the end of a war and you're still alive walking out the gate of the death camp cured of a cancer that sort of thing. a puzzle solved a witness found when you thought they must be dead, and you made a call, and they were very much alive and well that sort of thing
