There was a similar (maybe the same?) item on silver soaring in today's Globe & Mail. There was also a couple of articles on gold, unfortunately all quite negative. A spokesman for Lehman Brothers said that he could see a new "technical top" for gold of U.S.$300, and the gold sector dropping a lot further. Made me think for a bit about getting out of junior gold stocks. But then I started to think how wrong such predictions can be proven by some sudden turn in world politics or other unexpected event. I often have the thought of where things would stand today with Bre-X stock if 200+ million ounces had actually been proven at Busang. And would it have resulted in the price of gold being U.S.$250 at this point?
