Racist tweets. ..

racist tweets

This seems plausible. Look at Texas. The majority are concentrated in East Texas. Which is where the most of the blacks in Texas are concentrated.

Now look at the rest of the country. Racist, anti-Obama tweets are mostly, but not exclusively from red states. The redder the states the more tweets that are racist. I suppose you can argue that the more conservative the state is the more racist the smaller pool of liberals are, but that supposition fails Occam's Razor. ..

>> there has been an undercurrent of racism among wingers ever since he ran for president.......emails depicting watermelons on the WH lawn, photos of Michele and his children resembling gorillas, racist slurs made in private conversations that come to public light and slurs made in public as well; racist tweets; Obama hung in effigy off trees much like was done with blacks 100 years ago in the South; the guv of AZ sticking her ugly, old and gnarled finger in the face of the POTUS like he was a 'boy'..

While there have been a tiny, tiny number of such racist references, they are few and far between and frankly, I haven't seen one in a long time. As to whether it is "wingers" making them, that a conclusion not supported by the facts. Outside of the Internet, the only racist reference i've heard directed at Obama was from a far left liberal. I know of no statistical data to support your insult against conservatives who, in my experience, tend to condemn, not condone racism.

These are not far and few.........these are just the ones generated by R leaders who should frigging know better. Among the rabble, it gets much, much worse.

Your reference to "the guv of AZ" is a perfect example. There was not the slightest racial overtone in that image yet you are imagining one -- an inherently racist act on your part. "Like he was a boy" -- that's you, not the "guv of AZ" -- making that absurd inference.

Fucking A.........if a liberal dared to stick their finger in Bush's face publicly while scolding him, you would have had a heart attack. You and the rest of the wingers would have been screaming up a storm. I have never ever seen any American stick their finger in the face of a POTUS in anger. The only reason that beauty school dropout dared to do it is because she is white, and Obama is black. And I am pissed that Obama stood there and took it.

>> The South is not cleansed of it. And that's your bubble speaking once again, making such a claim. This country is not cleansed of it.

It essentially is. You're never going to eliminate all racism anywhere. But for the most part, at least in terms of visible racism, it is gone in the South. I can't say what people THINK, but looking at their actions, I just don't see much evidence of it. And I've seen it in real life.

If people still think it and say it, then they still practice it. And so long as they practice it, we continue to have a problem with racism.

>> The election of Obama has made that very clear.

Right. The election, TWICE, of a black president (regardless of the tactics he used) has made it very clear that racism is still a problem in this country. Do you have any idea how fucking stupid that comment is?

To you.........only to you.

And for the record, before Obama was elected, I thought racism was on the decline. I believe now that to be incorrect.

"The election, TWICE, of a black president"

Has really brought our racists out, in droves! Since almost all racists that vote are Republicans, they are now free to hate for "political" reasons, openly!
