Only a liberal could think of caring for his family as a noble deed. But of course if your ideal world has the govt providing cradle to grave support, then I suppose it might look that way to you.

I do have other insurance, but I paid into both systems. Lots. It is not welfare. I earned it.

You earned your SS, but you can't seem to grasp the concept that other people earned their incomes. Money given by the govt is earned, but money from work or investment is unfair and should be confiscated by the govt for redistribution to the non-productive. What a hypocrite.
