You have no understanding of socialism or democracy. You know what you have without democracy and socialism? You seem to think that socialism is a necessary part of democracy, when in fact it is a threat to democracy. Democracy did quite well in the US for 150 years without socialism. During that period we grew from bankrupt colonies to the worlds greatest economy. We were a magnet for millions of immigrants from around the world. All without any socialism, and with a govt 1/3 the size of today's relative to GDP. Increasing the power of DC is the direct cause of all of the current scandals, from the IRS to NSA. That type of govt behavior is an inevitable consequence of socialism.
