John: I respect your background and I am in general agreement with your opinions of what the future holds for the world. I have one observation that I propose for consideration. The rapid growth of inequitable wealth distribution over the past few decades has rendered the possibility of hyper-inflation questionable. A system that imposes severe inflation on a population that cannot handle it is going to be overturned in a world of seven billion souls that are able to communicate as never before in history. I finally finished going through that collection. By the way, that's really interesting where you were leading up to 1987. If the next down leg is on the see able horizon.. your 100 year cycle, and then all the rest you sent me... would you entertain my favorite number? spx at 400? spx 400 would give back everything going back to 1987.. when Greenspan took over the Fed, which of course has given way to Son of Greenspan. we almost got their in the last round at 666. when the JGB's go belly up, that's it for Japan. Could be, the market is merely waiting to see if he wins the upper house vote.. so we have something like six weeks left. The prc and Xi were a long wait, but now concluded. Germany will be on snooze control until Merkal is decided in September. Then finally by October, we won't be waiting to see if one or another king maker is elected or re-elected. Perhaps for the first time in 5 years. Stage then set for all to play?
