Looking at just that few 1000 years of human natural selection , now add many cycles of changing envirionments that will force change thru the glacial periods, continental drift adding to this radical plant evolution, alterring atmosphere concentration.

When you start having that "1000 yard stare" instead of just flicker of a timid glance at earth's changing landscape & major events that would create so many adaptations with natural selection in full force thru it all. Look at the drift of the continents then ask yourself how many interglacial episodes did the earth experience? Just the last glacial period 25k yrs ago, found ice sheets over most of North America & profoundly impacted Earth's climate, causing drought, desertification, and a dramatic drop in sea levels with dramatic changes to mammal habitat.

If natural selection is one major engine that drives evolution, then we must try to think of all these cycling ages of climatic change & land drift , its not too difficult then to see all species were always under constant pressure to change & adapt thru these many epochs. Not just land but also the sea & atmosphere.

You are trying to confine a long 5 act play & pretend its only just the first few opening lines, apparently the reality of all this is beyond your grasp? You keep making very simpleminded protests with no appreciation for these many cycles that would constantly be producing many changes & adaptations all along the way.

As a food source & game changer we do not forget that plant evolution figures highly into all this too, we are not just talking about animal evolution. All becomes illumnated when you start looking at the real picture including all the evolving interdependent systems, plant species do quite alot of changing themselves.

The thing is , you know very well the picture that evolution paints, say just of part of the Tree that sees all land mammals originally descending from the tiniest burrough living creatures. But still try to make many protests targeting some generalities when the fact remains that ancient Tree science has drawn remains entirely intact right up to the recent 55mil yrs of evolving horses & especially the examples of whales & dolphins.

If you cant grasp in an intuitive reasonable way the truth of the reality of all this change , one can only say someone is just intentionally playing dumb for reasons that do not involve science? But something else entirely. As pointed out, the constantly changing envirionment ie: land sea & atmosphere that would effect new speciation thru natural selection are absolutely myriad given the the cycles of time & events the earth has undergone.

You can pretend otherwise for the politics or the apologetics or supporting some fantasy story , thats not going to change the reality of the thing.
