China is shown to be no worse than and probably nowhere near as effective as the USA NSA/CIA/FBI criminal conspiracy in spying on people around the world and governments. Edward voluntarily has provided the information which is far more effective than doing a deal with China. Edward specifically said he was trusting Hong Kong's government and people to decide his fate. With supervision by China of course, but China would not wish to intercede and spoil their fantastic Hong Kong zone of freedom and economic megapower over details. How hard is it for Cheney and the other fools to understand that? I dare say a Kiwi judge will have vastly more credibility than Dick Cheney and Obama's criminal cronies. A Kiwi judge, and the other judges handling Hong Kong's common law and other law are not beholden to China's bosses and have credibility of a high level. A Kiwi judge has stymied the criminal FBI and stupid, illegal, and nasty NZ government attack on Kim Dotcom and his young family. The case for extradition is not looking good. The Reddit man, Kim Dotcom, Julian Assange, Bradley Manning, Edward Snowden - there are more and more people who are under attack by The Empire. The old saying applies: First they came for Edward, but I believed them when they said he was a bad guy, then they came for .... but I have nothing to hide so I wasn't worried ... then they came for me and there was nobody left to help me. Just as well he didn't come to pathetic toadying NZ <Asked why he chose to fly to Hong Kong rather than directly to Iceland, the country he claims he wants to seek asylum in, Snowden said: "There was a distinct possibility I would be interdicted en route, so I had to travel with no advance booking to a country with the cultural and legal framework to allow me to work without being immediately detained. "Hong Kong provided that. Iceland could be pushed harder, quicker, before the public could have a chance to make their feelings known." > Hong Kong was the best bet. Good judgment for a relative youngster. Mqurice
