You asked: "How long is the short description of each company? Is it more than the name of the company in Release 1?"

In QP2, the Fundamental Data window begins with the symbol, price to sales, etc. then the SIC description, then a paragraph on each company, summarizing the business and giving a brief rundown of revenues and earnings, and what the figures reflect in the last report. After that paragraph, data is listed, including earnings and rev. for the past 12 quarters, market cap. outstanding shares, float, short interest, institutional percentage, etc.

If you run a scan and specify that you want it to list, among other things, a "description" of the company, then it's only the name of the company. But there's more -- much more -- under fundamental data, as I said.
