My last post on the subject. There are many websites that use features to let others know they like something, a service, blog post, post on a message board, you name it. They use stars, likes, or other ways to covey how much they approve something. This rec feature has nothing to do with Facebook. YouTube is another major site that uses likes, thumbs up or down. We just happen to use recommends. No need for anyone to respond, I consider the subject closed. Ron

well, this is a sad state of affairs re: this who is recommending this post or that now publicly outted deal. Did you know that at least one SI'er has figured out how to be anonymous and still recommend a post? Clicking on the message I'm responding to, (yes, I'm basically talking to myself--LOL) I see 6 reco names, 5 specially identified and a 6th one a "mystery party"... This infantile NSA enabling enhancement has gone totally off the rails. Lest I be considered rude and ungrateful, ......errrr...thanks for the 6 recos, people. LOL media.tumblr.com
