Elsewhere in the country (or at least the state) you could probably snatch it up for around a quarter million, tops: but in Google's back yard, it's four times that. So what was that house worth back in 1978? What sick joke they are playing on 'socialist' Californians... My specialty now is buying older ranch homes like that in disrepair and transforming it into the best on the block getting tenants fighting over it.. Probably paying what it was worth in the 1960's in SV<g> Can't get around near $10k rehab though..
