Matthew:

Ok, so Araldica has no business plan to market wine from Antogianni outside of N.Y. in the U.S. Looks like there won't be a need for national network advertising on these products. Will you be expecting sales in foreign markets? Do you expect an increase in foreign sales as a result of all this advertising? Is the senior Mr. Landi going to be in charge of the foreign sales and marketing programs?

ARALDICA is, primarily, a direct marketer of premium Italian wines to
Italian-American consumers. We are currently the American agents
representing some two dozen Italian wines, from 3 regions in Italy
[Tuscany, Abruzzo and Sicily]. By early 1998, we plan to be marketing
wines from all 20 regions of Italy, to better serve our Italian-American customers throughout the United States.

How do you plan on marketing wine throughout the U.S. when you are prohibited from doing so and know that you are?

Matt: Another write-up states "In addition to marketing and distributing wines, the Company will own and operate retail liquor stores in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey to serve as a base of operations for the direct marketing efforts and to market Italian specialty foods and olive oil." ... "As the Company grows, other areas will be added but the Tri-State area is now the main focus."

The writer may no longer be in good standing with ARALDICA but it is a source of information and confussion. Can you enlighten us on wine sale plans beyond New York state. If the intent is strictly New York that's OK, it's just nice to have a clear picture. Dealing with the PR firm doesn't get the answers to enough people.
THANX JOE
