Hi Peter: I have some free time this afternoon. So lets take a travelogue to the past with Botswanna Diamond Fields. This company was formed shortley after the play evolved in the NWT. At that point in time the company was just formed led by John Darch.. The principal property was a vast track of land in Botswanna., I believe the Mopi concession., and three others as well. It was hyped quite well by C.M. Oliver and with around 8,000.000 shares listed moved up to a high of around 6.87C. The concessions were formerly owned by Copperfields now defunct to the best of my knowledge. The promotional point was that Copperfields hadnt done a complete job on drilling those concessions and when John Gurney of Cape Town presented his findings., it was hype a mania., hence the movement to those prices. They conducted a professional drilling campagin on those concessions., but came up empty. Some of the subtle differences in exploring for diamonds in the Kalahari can be monumentus considering the depth of the kimberlites as well as the shifting nature the sands. The pretense for copperfields initial failure was a lack of pinpointing targets identified in the field with coordinates matched at the drill rigs. So Botswanna Diamond Fields saw an opportunity to take over the concessions. As stated before., they came up empty. During that time., after the drill program., they pursued a fissure deposit in S. Africa., obtained the mine and were ramping it up for production. Unfortunately several miners were killed when one of the tunnels filled with mud. As to the current progress on the fissure deposit., I am not currently uptodate. Just recently., I understand some major concessions were picked up in Angola. I intend to look into those further. Botswanna Diamondfields is one company in the Crew Group of companies. others are Asia Minerals developing a potash mine in Thailand., Crofty Tin., Crew Energy. BWD is listed on the senior board of the VSE. They seem to have no shortage of funds or the ability to acquire exploration monies. They are a high profile company with management that has asset developemnt experience. Most every property that is rolled in are 100% ers., with good risk reward potential. the question is when will they deliver the goods. As far as Winspear., it is a safe bet IMO that most tax loss selling has ended., and now with fresh coverage a bounce is in order. My box has been loaded in the high sixties and low seventies. Sincerely George
