Lol's have their place. It makes no sense to keep saying some post was humorous or ridiculously funny, so just rec the first guy who noticed. It confirms for the rest of the forum that the lol'd post was funny and you are recommending others take a look, without loading up the list of postings, repeating the same thing over and over again. That's the purpose of rec's I realize that may not make sense to humorless dolts. That's ok.
