You are right, correlation does not necessarily mean causation, but it does mean the probability is, it is not random, and their is a cause and I think most thinking people logically deduce, unions do cause a vibrant middle class.

But the plutocrats know if they can get rid of the unions, they will make much more money and they have been doing it for almost 40 years with great success. Unions have gone from about 35% 40 years ago to around 6/7% now!

Now half the country is near the poverty level. The plutocrats continue to increase their power over us by buying the congress and we are a disgracefully not taking care of our people.

We are 65th in the world in income inequality and since 2008 the top 7% have gained 5.6 trillion and the bottom 93% have lost 668 billion.

Goldman Sachs has 50 lobbyists and wall street has 10 for every person in congress. Then there are the other big powerful companies and rich people buying congressional folks.

Now if you believe all these rich folks give the hundreds of million to the congressional people out of the goodness of heart and for the concern for the people, I have a bridge I will sell you.

The plutocrats have us by the throat and they are fooling people (mostly middle class conservatives) into helping them crush us and make us their serfs and peasants just like they did for most of all of recorded history.
