<<re: Lehman has an analysis of the 11/18 analysts' meeting with QNTM. Apparantly no change in prior earnings guidance. >>

11/18 was just two weeks prior to Lehman's current 12/2 report.

This is what concerns me about the company/analyst meetings. You never know what to believe.

IMO all company/analyst meetings should disclose the time/place and have open access to all investors that wish to attend. Or at least have telephone access so any investor can listen in.

But I know the analysts will have a 101 reasons why open access isn't necessary. DMG, Sands, Lemans, H&Q they will keep us "informed". They will take care of us. Oh ya, right. Dale

I think that besides a bit of a "correction" to 30-32 for being oversold and a bounce, Quantum will depend on earnings to drive it up. Reports of strong PC sales probably won't have much, if any effect. If Quantum directly reports strong sales, particularly with some clearer earnings indication, then it could help. I agree that the sector is out of favor and will likley stay that way until earnings come in as good or better than currently expected. At that time institutional investors may start getting back in more agressively.

I tend to agree that, as stupid as it seems, that the old lady cows on wallstreet will likely trade the group - Mooo . . Moooo!
