I'm trying to remember, there was I think ProMaster (guaranteed for life) and something with the word Red in it, which I don't think they carried. They essentially said you get what you pay for, and SanDisk went bad when they went to two controllers. What do I know? But these guys do have a dedicated computer just for card recovery.

It was a real bummer losing those shots. Great light, tremendous view of the ranges from the top of the mountain, scattered low lying fog. I'm looking at them on the LCD as I'm shooting and they look great... then later Bam!, gone.

I was going to get a 16x20 printed for our host ... the mountains are her back yard. Fingers crossed.

I have never had a Sandisk Card fail
Neither have I. I was surprised to read that someone considers them the worst.
