For years I kept a cable drawer that was as organized as a bowl of spaghetti. It had two or three of every cable ever made except the one I needed at any given time. It's been relegated to the purgatory of a box in the garage, on its way to the garbage bin.

There's also the problem of remembering what you have. Lots of duplicates because I forgot I'd already bought a certain item.
Well you could enter into a spreadsheet what you have.

Next problem is to find the spreadsheet (if your computer is organized like my computer)
