"I need a good laugh every day."

So try this one on your Canadian friends.

Do you know how Canada got its name?

No? Didn't think so.

Many years ago the colony didn't have a name and that perplexed its widely diverse small citizenry.

What to do? There was much debate.

Eventually they decided to throw all the letters of the alphabet in a hat and draw them one-by-one to determine the name.

Three trappers from the far north were selected to draw and announce the letters of the new name.

The first trapper drew a letter and announced the results, "C-eh."

And then the second trapper, "N-eh."

And the third, "D-eh."

The rest is history.

First of all, two points:

1. That's a hockey joke, not a sex joke, and

2. You didn't need to tell me you're British; I knew that already.

As for your wife's origins, you're welcome to prove it by posting a picture of her.

(That's another joke, just in case that lime in your mouth is destroying your sense of humor.)

Oops, there I go again.

I may be in denial but doubt it. Who really knows? For sure, not you.

ATP is a can of worms. But what bankruptcy isn't? I've been there before. Sometimes I get my teeth kicked in. Goes with the territory. Sometimes I do better, e.g., loading up on W.R. Grace (GRA) years ago while it was at $8/share.

I only own the 2nd lien bonds, bought at a deep discount, so Judge Isgur doesn't need to change the results much for me to come out with 10 cents on the dollar and a nice gain. Time will tell. I remain hopeful, but am not in denial of the facts and risks that they present.

You have been consistently right, Silky. Congratulations. The problem has been that you were not both right and credible at the same time.
