Jim -

My two cents regarding VectorVest:

First of all, I don't think of VectorVest's 'product' as TA. To me, TA is the charting and interpretation of price/volume data to INFER how the struggle between the bulls/bears is going, i.e., who is winning, and who is likely to win in the near-term future.

I think of VectorVest's product as more of a black-box which just rates stocks in various fundamental areas. I don't trust black-boxes, because I need to know more about the calculations and the assumptions behind the calculations to get comfortable with it. Also, it seems to me VectorVest's rating system is really varied and complex.

Therefore, as you might guess, I don't pay much attention to VectorVest.

On the other hand, my TA indicators (simple MACD and DMI) both show SNDK to be in a bearish phase, so I and VectorVest are in agreement, however temporary.

Jim,

RE: Vector Vest

I did a little probing of this site's recommendations on a few stocks. Frankly, I don't agree with their conclusions. I'm not the best investor, far from it, but I think their full of it! JMO. I don't agree with all their conclusions. When their analysis starts telling me that ctxs is a buy at $83 when I think it is way overvalued today I have to wonder. I don't know how they come out with their conclusions but their completely wrong about their forcasting of what Sandisk should be worth now and will be worth in the future. Just my 2 cents.

Mauro.
