Great questions, and yes to both questions... the first confirmation would still be a confirmed sell signal regardless of what happens with any subsequent signals... in other words, if a higher signal is confirmed but lower sell signal is not confirmed, then it would obviously be a rejection of that second signal and the market could therefore rally the next day, but the first sell confirmation still means the main model is officially short despite the rejection of the second signal... the market could just bounce the next day and then attempt to penetrate that second sell point that very next day... this is what happened last week when we had no less than 3 rejected buy signals in 3 consecutive days only to be confirmed on the 4th attempt... however, that didn't happen today... all 3 signals were clearly confirmed... great question, thanks for asking...

I closed out a large portion of my short position just now, I'm holding a light short position and will reinstate the short side more aggressively if we rally much from here...

I think the SP will rally maybe 30 to 40 points from here before it turns lower again...
