Tim,

Would you buy ASND back if it drops back to 25+?

TIA,
Patriot

I will have to disagree if this proves to be false

Tim,

I will have to disagree with me too if this proves false! <VBG>

Gary Korn

P.S. It's a good thing not everyone takes the same view on this thread. Can you imagine how unproductive that would be. Without challenge and disagreement, there is no need to prove a point, do the research, or whatever else is required to discern the truth. No need to respond!

<<if this proves to be false (which I believe it will)
asnd will drop very hard and fast and nothing will stop it. Just try to imagne all those millions of shares that
were bought for one reason only (buyout rumor) and if and when this falls through those millions of shares
will be dumped.>>

not necessarily all these millions shares were bought and just waiting for the buyout; many millions changed hands making quite a bit out of it already based on the trading range.

Tim, you haven't a clue. Stick to your 1/4 point scalps and you'll
be all right.

I think you are wrong. ASND is a quite established networking company
whith number one or number two in its fields: Remote access and Frame
Relay and ATM WAN switches. The company is currently profitabe which
has missed a quarter earning to market expectation. But, the company's
fundamental is very strong. If you take a look of AMD and BAY network,
I think ASND is an oppotunity. It seems to me ASND short term and long
term outlooks are very good.

If you sell it at $23 - $25, you can bet that I am a buyer.

Cheers,

Mike

Tim,

I think there are other reasons the stock is rising, primarily the agreement on a standard for 56k modem, see

biz.yahoo.com

This is extremely good news for the entire sector, IMO.
