The online access to download my licensed copied expired after something like 10 days, which is explained to a buyer only after he has paid for it. A glitz with hardware installation made me unable to download it before that time. I emailed the company and explained what happened and asked them to extend my download deadline. Received no replay, and will never buy another product from them again. My experiences have been different and I suspect that your problem was with the 3rd party that processed your order for EaseUS, not with EaseUS, and you probably did not purchase the 3rd party's extended download service. I believe that with your order ID from the 3rd party EaseUS support could have helped you resolve the issue satisfactorily. Although I used Acronis TI (v2009 v, 2010, v 2011) on XP SP3 and then on Vista and Windows 7 (and before that Ghost) I'm a long time user of EaseUS Partition Master Home (supplemented now by MiniTool Partition Wizard Home) and I've been using EaseUS Todo Backup Home since v 4.x (free initially) on 3 systems. In late 2012 I took advantage of an EaseUS discount offer they emailed to me as a registered user and paid $29.95 for 3 licensed copies of EaseUS Todo Backup Home 5.3 which I've updated at no cost 5 times to (now) to v5.8 on each of 3 systems (XP, Win7 32-bit and 64-bit with the 32-bit Win7 box now running Win8). EaseUS ToDo released v6.0 recently and yesterday I ordered the $10 upgrade for my 64-bit Win 7 system. I promptly received an emailed confirmation from EaseUS stating ... "Download link of full version and serial number (License code) can be seen in the email of "Your Order with CHENGDU YIWO Tech Development Co., Ltd". Please contact us via online chat easeus.com if you have not received the activation key in 30 minutes. " When I hadn't received the referenced follow up CHENGDU YIWO email in 45 minutes I opened a chat session with EaseUS support which commenced 4 minutes later with 'Jason.' A few minutes later after checking his system, Jason furnished the 25 character serial number (License code) and I installed v6.0, created a new emergency disk, exported and burned an ISO disk, then backed up. When one purchases software from EaseUS (as opposed to using a free version), activates it, then registers it the order is logged to your account. EaseUS orders are handled by a 3rd party (Digital River if I recall) and the licensee can pay extra for 'Extended Download Service' from them. It is not necessary as EaseUS states in a FAQ, because if you have activated your purchased software and then registered you can redownload the product at any future time directly from EaseUS who also stores your original serial numbers (License codes) needed to reinstall ... Over the years on several occasions I've communicated with EaseUS Support by email and have always received prompt and satisfactory responses. Their products that I've used are top notch and their documentation is comprehensive and useful. • EaseUS Todo Backup Home Benefits:todo-backup.com • EaseUS Todo Backup Home Features:todo-backup.com • EaseUS Todo Backup Product Comparison:todo-backup.com EaseUS Todo Backup Free 6.0 is available from CNet:download.cnet.com Best, - Eric -
