I do not think that this is "off topic" so I would post it here. I have some skills in programing (Excel as well) and wrote a few experimental programs for RTtrader, Signal on line to capture Money Flow and graph it. I tried to do it with Interquote but present version does not support DDE or OLE. However old version 1.4 supported OLE and one can write a dedicated program to use it. Next major version upgrade of Interquote supposedly will provide OLE. The program seems to be interesting but I have few questions. Is the on balance volume similar to money flow but just monitoring volume (MF is volume * trade size)? I would assume that to calculate your OBV you have to run the program all the time to capture the data? Is that true? Before I spend $50-100 I would have to or see a demo showing all the features or see a good review by independent reviewer . It is very difficult to say how much one is willing to spend before one knows what's in the package.
