I got out at 31.4 yesterday, what a deal. Sold all my shares and my calls I bought a couple days ago at 23, best timing I ever had on a trade. Got back in with some mar35's on the calls. On monday I will balance it out with some mar25 put's when the stock gaps up on open. We are going to see this stock going back and forth until a statement is made concerning the rumors. But come along jan 20th you better be betting in both directions when eanings are released. Personally I think earnings will be better than expected.

Tim, I have been reading your bad mouthing ASND , I dont think you know a bout internet networking at all when you compair ASND with other,I bet you that when you dial up to the Internet that you will be connect to one of the ASND product,that will tell you how much they own the market share ,maybe 75% ,now that UUNET took over ANS and Compusever, it grew even more . CSCO are good at routers, and COMS at computer interphase, ASND good at Internet remote dial up and in infrastructure backbone for all the ISP POP. Please watch ASND in summer 98 , the stock will tell you that ASND is the number one in the Internet dialup , Why did that every one wants to take over ASND ? I think that ASND have some thing that they dont have. I wish that every one leave ASND alone because ASND will Asend so fast that they will remember that at this price ASND is given away price. Hi Tim, I'm not going to against you about ASND will drop back to mid 20's in coming weeks but I still strongly believe that ASND will be up eventhough the rumor is dead. There are several reasons for that: 1. CFO's announcement about future earning. 2. a stabilized of the general market 3. ASND already hit a bottom, it's time for those BIG GUYS to jump back in (the sell off for tax purpose is over) 4. The increase inflow money in equity. 5. The outlook for networks industry still remain growth up to 25% per year. 6. I don't think those big block trades in the last few days simply bet on rumor only there must be something else beside that. 7. is there any reasons will hold ASND down? it's ok with me to give up 4 point for the dead rumor but it will back up again. Please take a second thought, you might miss a ride up to 40+. Just my amateur opinion. Duke.
