Sheesh, the products and services he provides make mining safer and his testimony is that unions are sometimes a barrier to technology that will improve safety for the miners.

I've been in many meetings with both management and union reps and it is just astounding how quickly the union reps rejected solutions that would not only help to save the lives of miners, but it would even make their jobs easier.
